Rented a suite for an overnight stay. We're here for a wedding. First the good points. Fairly large 2 room suite. Very comfortable king size bed. Unfortunately this place is not up to standards I've come to expect from Country Inns. The room decor is clearly dated. The carpet is shabby and worn. It doesn't seem that the carpet was vacuumed before we checked into the room. The living room couch is stained and dirty. One of the lampshades was damaged and taped back together. The bedroom phone didn't work. The curtains are off track and the blackout shades have holes in them. The wood furniture is chipped and worn. There are holes in the bathroom walls plugged with what looks caulk. Just a general lack of attention to detail. It's a shame. With a refresh and deep cleaning this could be a much more pleasant room.

We went for our yearly trip to the Ren fest and overall appearance I was impressed by the hotel and the breakfast was wonderful. Bad part was the foldout bed/couch had stains and the sheets on that mattress seemed dirty. Fwd to a few weeks post trip, my kids and I are starting to get horrible welted bites everywhere. We were shocked to find out that we had bedbugs follow us home. This was the very disappointing part of our fun trip. I've been at my wits end getting them cleared out of our home now.

Our stay was average. The bed was comfortable, room was in general ok, but maintenance items were evident. A hot breakfast was offered, but the staff was not readily on top of keeping items replenished. Pancake maker was down that morning. We did use the pool and hot tub. Pool was a bit cool, but hot tub was perfect. Fitness room is very small and needs upgrading.

Drapes were torn down on one end and shear curtains were ripped top to bottom. Room was hot most of the time. Only the bedroom thru-wall unit was cooling. The other unit for the living room was not operable.

I got married at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in July 2023 and booked large suites at the Country Inn & Suites for our getting ready space as well as for guest rooms. The rooms were so spacious and were perfect for having my bridal hair and makeup done as well as for some beautiful getting ready photos. Eric in the office was great to work with for coordinating our room block for our guests. The rooms are very comfortable, and it was great to have breakfast included in the morning!
